Overnight Oats


Alright, so this afternoon I’ve begun the process of making “overnight oats” as it has been a slightly popular topic on many healthy breakfast option web-links. (Sorry I forgot to take pictures, I’ll remember next time!)

Here’s the base ingredients for this recipe:

Old-Fashioned Oats
Greek Yogurt (or any ol’ yogurt)
Some kind of milk
Chia seeds (this is optional for additional protein, fiber.. Just a whole slew of healthy stuff!)
I’m making a “Pineapple Coconut Overnight Oats” mixture. Making 2 small jars and letting them sit overnight. Breakfast for the next 2 days! Yay for proactive planning.

Here’s how I made it.

1/2 C. old-fashioned oats
1/4 C. Liberté Pineapple yogurt
1/3 C. light coconut milk – used less milk because regular yogurt is runnier

and that’s it! Put the lid on it, shake’r up and pop it in the fridge!
