About Mnemosyne

A young adult living in Alberta, Canada.

A graduate with a diploma in Information Management and Library Technology.

A woman trying to find herself in such a corporate-droid society.

A daughter to two amazingly patient, tolerant, forgiving parents.

A thoughtful Christian with so much to learn about myself.

Likes: Talking. Reading. Working. Researching. Listening to music. Learning.
Dislikes: Greed. Gluttony. Others being down right rude. Obnoxious behavior.

Hopes: To one day be the proud “owner” of a Masters degree. To be happier.

Dreams: To be a better people-person. To have the ability to know what to say and when to say it. To be able to have a great “wordy” post every time I blog.

Also a quick disclaimer so that nobody gets into trouble: all the contents of the pages of “Her Muse” are mine unless otherwise stated and quoted. Please be courteous in providing a link or asking for permission if you decide to use any of my posts for your own. Thank you very much. I shall not be penalized for my opinion as it is mine and mine alone. All content is my word vomit and shall not be considered punishable. If you have a problem with what I say, put some words where your thoughts are or just leave it alone and move on.

Hic liber est mein (This book belongs to none but me)
Ideo nomen scripsi drein. (For there’s my name inside to see,)
Si vis hunc liberum stehlen, (To steal this book, if you should try,)
Pendebis an der kehlen. (It’s by the throat that you’ll hang high.)
Tunc veniunt die raben (And ravens then will gather ’bout)
Et volunt tibi oculos ausgraben. (To find your eyes and pull them out.)
Tunc clamabis ach ach ach, (And when you’re screaming “oh, oh, oh!”)
Ubique tibi recte geschach. (Remember, you deserved this woe.)

  1. Hi! I’m Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a fitness/diet app and website. I saw your blog today and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in getting 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

In case you don’t know, our website SlimKicker basically turns your fitness/diet goals into a level up game. The tracker will work in conjunction the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

    – Sue
P.S. You can choose not to publish this comment as this is more of a private comment 🙂

    • Unfortunately I never received much of a reply after the initial contacts were made. I was very excited nonetheless and I thought this was going to be my branching opportunity to test-drive products. Oh well, for people who are interested in getting in touch with me in regards to product reviews, check out my “About” page 🙂
